CATEGORIES
•
Active- A
Registered Nurse maintaining an active license in the US or
its territories,who is working in a consulting capacity in
the legal field. ($145 annual dues)
•
Associate- A
Registered Nurse maintaining an active license in the US or
its territories who is interested in the goals and
activities of AALNC, but has NOT
worked in a consulting capacity during the previous 12
months. ($145 annual dues)
•
Sustaining- An
individual who practices law or any other individual,
business, organization or facility with an interest in the
goals and activities of AALNC. ($225
annual dues)

ANGELES CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP
Who Can Join?
Membership
in the Los Angeles Chapter of AALNC is open to Registered
Nurses with an interest in promoting the goals of the
chapter and who have also joined the AALNC national
organization.
What
are the Benefits of Membership?

interested in working as an expert witness, in-house at a
Plaintiff or Defense firm, or in other practice areas. As a
chapter member you will have access to LNCs with widely
diverse clinical experience as well as extensive LNC
experience.

How
do I join the Los Angeles Chapter?
AALNC-LA
Membership applications will be available online soon. In
the meantime, an application can be obtained and completed
at the next AALNC-LA Chapter meeting in May at the Pasadena
Hilton.
After joining the national AALNC organization, simply
complete the AALNC-LA Membership application and return
with the following AALNC-LA Chapter Membership fees:
Chapter Membership is $68.00 annually*
*The Early Bird Special is $50.00 annually. (Applies if
application and $50 check are postmarked on or prior to
December 31st
of the
prior year. (Example. Membership fee for 2007 would be $50
if paid prior to 12/31/07. After 12/31/07, the membership
fee would be $68.)
Local membership dues cover ONLY
the cost
of the local chapter. Membership to the National AALNC is a
separate fee. A Registered Nurse may be a member of the
National organization without being a member of the local
organization. However, to gain the most benefit from the
National membership, local membership is recommended.
AALNC-
LA CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES:
•
Active membership: Registered
nurse with active licensure in the United States or its
territories. Active members may vote, hold office and serve
on committees and must hold membership in the national
AALNC organization.
•
Associate membership: Registered
nurse with an active licensure in the United States or its
territories, but has not worked in a consulting capacity
during the previous 12 months. Associate members may not
vote but may serve on committees with approval by the
AALNC- LA Chapter Board. Associate members must hold
current membership in the national organization.
•
Sustaining Membership: For an
annual fee of $100 per year, a sustaining membership is
granted to any individual, law firm or organization
interested in the goals and activities of the AALNC. A
sustaining member is not an RN, but has an interest in the
LNC career. Membership in National AALNC is not required
and sustaining members may not vote, hold office or serve
on committees.
